Starting ABA

The first step when starting a new ABA program will be to conduct an interview with the family in order to find out basic information about the child’s history, needs, and expectations. Next, an initial assessment will be carried out in order to identify your child’s current level, known skills, and barriers to learning.

Based on the initial assessment results, a program will be put in place including targets for the next six months.

Next, training will be provided to parents and tutors on how to implement the targets.
